About
My name is Brittany, and I am the founder of Neon Dust. Neon Dust was created through a series of difficult times that were saved by the “Freeride Culture” mindset.
A few years back, I found myself lost, depressed and anxious after witnessing the U.S.’ deadliest mass shooting. I was at the Route 91 Las Vegas shooting in 2017 which, quite literally, turned my life upside down. After this dark and difficult time, I went on a journey to find myself and my happiness, which ultimately brought me to mountain biking.
Fast forward a few more years, and I met my boyfriend Dylan Stark. Dylan opened my eyes to the world of “freeride”, where there are no rules, limits, style or judgements when riding your bike. I became obsessed with riding big jumps, and pushing my limits. Until eventually, my limits pushed back when I got my first serious injury biking. I broke my back at my L1 vertebrae, which kept me away from any type of physical activities for at least 3 months.
During this time of healing, I decided to put two things I loved together; mountain biking & art. This resulted in Neon Dust, a freeride clothing & lifestyle brand tailored to my fellow riders that want to push the limits, not follow any rules, or have any expectations when it comes to riding their bike.
I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to create something for others that share my passion, and to also show my appreciation to how much the “freeride culture” saved me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Love,
Brittany Agee
